Aww your joking? It was fine the way it was! That logo looks really old fashioned! Seriously BBC! Its bad enough the next Doctor looks totally useless, now the logo joins him! Seriously I dont think I’m going to be watching the next series!

New opening titles? Yeah, I know that. This text just doesn’t seem like it could go into it.

Karl, that was exactly the word I was looking for! Very superhero-ish. Which is a very very bad thing.

i like it because its a lot more like old docotr who… hope they change the soundtrack and make it less orcastra and more like hartnells soundtrack aswell.

I don’t like it, and no, I’m not a new fan. Please don’t put me in that boat. I don’t think it looks like the classic logos /or/ the newer ones. It doesn’t really match the show, because everything else I see is very classic and old-fashioned based, but this looks very futuristic. Ah well, who cares? Just a logo… Although, how will they fit this into the opening titles?

looks a bit overdone. didn’t see the need for a change of the logo, though. then again, scifi, sorry, syfy, changed their logo when they didn’t need to and ruined their viewings. change to the doctor who logo is making me nervous about the fifth series. there’s enough changes being made anyway.

The actual font for Doctor Who is very close to the classic season one from the 1960’s - with the tardis exterior also looking somewhat retro, this does suggest a definite change of format to the series.. with John Simms back as the Master in the Christmas specials, and the possible return of at least one other time lord (Timothy Dalton?), I am beginning to speculate on possible plot lines. What is it with the Sigma notation (nod back to the classic series)….wink wink.

I like it, it’s mysterious, a little edgy, and subtle. Well done, BBC!

    Personally, I don’t like it.
