¡Hola!

It means these people have snatched my scarf…

keep in mind, when you translate a poem from one language into another,,, the true meaning is gone… you have to understand the culture, the expressions, and what not.. anyways.. tc.. nice talking to ya… ;) and yeah watch Russel Peters..

And yeah, i am not Indian… I know Urdu cuz unfortunately, I have wasted too much time watching Bollywood movies… ez

Despite the Hindu/Muslim war and lingering mistreatment of women in poor areas I think the mostly peaceful nature of the culture is based on the religion. It practices tolerance of others no matter religion, culture, race or age. My family has lots of muslim friends. The culture teaches that in order to be a good person, its not about going to church etc..but helping others and understanding where they are coming from. Buddhism (also a peaceful religion) came from Hinduism.
