   I **** to be a downer, but…it’s just a ruddy logo. So long as the writing’s good, that’s what matters.

   i love that logo! i heard that sometime in series 5 they’d have a world war II episode.

   Umm…I’m not being hypocritical. I’m not saying Smith will be bad but I just really love DT and I don’t really like the new logo. also I don’t really like the new Tardis as it just looks a little tacky and plastic. Why is that hypocritical?

   ,,.Why the hell are you watching Doctor Who then? It’s always been about change and progress…and Smith’s Doc is no different from others. Stop being hypocritical.

   Seems to me you need to do a lot more growing up

   when i first saw it i was like “OH MY THAT’S HIDEOUS MAKE IT GO AWAY!” but i’ve now had time to get used to it and it’s not that bad. i just don’t really like the colour scheme. i LOVE the whole orange/red thing they’ve got going on at the moment and i think the title sequence is really amazing. and i’m just a bit resentful about the fact that it’s going to change

    The logo for series 1 and 2-4 was good, but now its returned to the logos that the old doctor who had! They should of made one that isn’t just plain words, at least it should of just been the tardis-shaped doctor who words without the words at its side.

    Change has always been a key theme of the show. Yeah, I like David Tennant too, but I also loved Ecclestone, Pertwee et al. He may be the doctor you grew up with, but its time to move on. If Tennant stayed on, as good as he is, the show’s growth would be stunted.

    Time to let DT go, and look to the future.

    yh but DT has been the Doctor I’ve grown up with pretty much and I saw in the Radio Times the new TARDIS which looks plastic and Matt’s outfit…tweed and a bowtie…its just they’re changing everything and i liked things the way they were

    My all time favourite Doctor Who logo is the diamond shaped logo from the Tom Baker era. If I had to choose between this logo and the logo for the first four seasons of the new series I have say I like the old one. But who knows I could come to like it. I did like David Tennet when he first started but I do now.

    Yet another case of Newdoctoritis in the building. Just wait for Matt Smith to appear and then start screaming for DT if its bad, not before.
