This video was actually done by Chermayeff & Geismar (not C&G Partners) showing a bunch of trademarks they’ve designed over the years. I know the designer who did it, Sagi Haviv. He told me he did it in After Effects.

it’s really interesting slow …. though

this is really cool, but FAR too slow to actually be enjoyable. I’d like to see a sped-up version. it would have a lot more impact.

The guy that did this definitely did it in flash. He works for a company called C&G Partners in NYC under a guy named Steff Geissbuhler that I saw at a speech. He showed this movie and explained how it was done.

History wise C&G partners was founded by guys that all worked for a firm called Chermayeff & Geismar which is a cornerstone of American Graphic Design and identity.

    Wow!
This is the most brilliant Logo-movie around!
    Amazing work!
I guess it’s a part of some university project and at least 2 people done it ( a Motion Designer and a Sound Designer ). The animation is done with FlASH, but I might be wrong :P
Anyway - if the author read this message someday - drop a line to give you credits in Logoblink . com (I’m gonna post it there) :)
