It is a light house. There is a real one out in front of the stadium. Loof for it in the background shots.
Lighthouses are a symbol of the New England coast line so the Pats incorporated it in their new stadium when they built it in 2002.

That’s the worst lighthouse I’ve ever seen!!! It looks nothing like the photo. Monkey Wrench with lightening bolts is a much more accurate description.
