I want to make a logo for my website and I bought Logo Design Studio Pro a while back but the images on there are pretty wack. Someone recommended that I buy Photoshop or Illustrator but I want to know the best one for my money. Any recommendations? I also want a program that I can make images for banners or flyers with.

It depends what base of the logo is going to be. If it is going to be photo like then Photoshop, animated would be Illustrator. for banners and flyers I like InDesign and Quark isn’t terrible. I would honestly recommend getting get the Adobe CS3 (Creative Suite) It as all the programs that will allow you to design anything and everything. It does cost some serious dollars but it is worth it in my book. I do free lance design work outside of my job and I couldn’t live without CS3. User friendly and depending of the computer fast. All the programs and be used with each other.
